JOHNNY RAY MCCLURE

Johnny Ray McClure, age 55, of New Philadelphia, O., passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, O.

Born January 11, 1971 in Beckley, W. Va., Johnny is the son of Eldridge and Mildred (Crookshanks) Adkins of Tippecanoe.

In 1990, Johnny graduated from New Philadelphia High School. He was employed as a machine operator at Deflecto for 10 years. Johnny enjoyed playing video games, coloring books and his dogs.

On June 21, 1992, Johnny married Patricia (Engel) McClure, who survives of the home.  Also surviving are his parents Eldridge and Mildred Adkins; a son Devan (Jennifer) McClure of Minot, North Dakota; granddaughter Arianna Haas; sisters-in-law Jane Hoover (Paul Diegmiller), Ruth Engel (Michael Gonter); brother-in-law Michael (Kimberly) Engel and their fur babies CoCo, Lupi, Buddy and Chi Chi.

In keeping with Johnny’s wishes, no services or calling hours will be observed.
